Determinantes sociales en la investigación sobre libertad económica de los egresados universitarios: un análisis bibliométrico y de contenido

Resumen

Objetivo. Encontrar los determinantes sociales que influyen o aportan a lograr libertad económica en los estudiantes o egresados universitarios.

Diseño/Metodología/Alcance. El estudio presenta una metodología de carácter cuantitativo, con un alcance exploratorio descriptivo, a través de un análisis bibliométrico realizado mediante el software SciMAT sobre 748 publicaciones científicas recopiladas de Scopus sobre el tema: “Libertad Económica”, todas con un enfoque holístico, en el periodo de 2005 al 2020. Dicho análisis proporciona la identificación de los principales autores, organizaciones, países, fuentes, áreas de investigación y desarrollo de este campo de investigación.

Resultados/Discusión. Se obtiene un mapa de evolución conceptual para cada área temática de los determinantes sociales que influyen o aportan a lograr la libertad económica, en los estudiantes o egresados universitarios en el periodo 2005-2020. Quedan tres áreas como determinantes, y ellas son: factores sociales, comportamiento emocional y estatus educacional. La comunidad científica ha centrado su atención en el egresado universitario como una persona que tiene aspiraciones y perspectivas individuales; no obstante, existen a la vez variables como: educación de los padres, estatus educacional, factores socioeconómicos y psicológicos, etcétera.

Conclusiones. El concepto de libertad económica ha evolucionado en los últimos años; los investigadores acerca del tema han llegado a conclusiones o consensos, describiendo los elementos o condicionantes generales que la constituyen. El presente trabajo presenta una acotación de la discusión científica sobre la “libertad económica” en tres áreas temáticas: factores sociales, comportamiento emocional y estatus educacional, los cuales afectan a los estudiantes o egresados universitarios.
