About the Journal

The Iberoamerican Journal of Science Measurement and Communication is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal. The journal was established in 2020, focusing on quantitative and qualitative aspects of science and technology, including bibliometrics and related topics. Additionally, it covers the evaluation of research systems, science policy, science communication, scholarly publishing, and the sociology of science. The journal is published quarterly and accepts original and review articles in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The average time from submission to final decision is 46 days. The journal is highly visible, with indexing in Scopus (Q1), EBSCO, ProQuest, Google Scholar, and other major databases.
