Comunicación organizacional: análisis de las tendencias de su investigación mediante indicadores de producción en Scopus

Resumen

Objetivo. El estudio aborda la investigación concerniente a la comunicación institucional, examinando su presencia en la base de datos Scopus. En este sentido, se describe y analiza la actividad científica registrada en dicha base de datos, identificando las principales tendencias y patrones que definen su contribución al campo.

Diseño/Metodología/Enfoque. El procedimiento metodológico, fundamentado en un enfoque cuantitativo, implica la recuperación de la literatura pertinente almacenada en la base de datos Scopus. No se establece un marco temporal definido, sino que se procede a la extracción de toda la información científica relacionada con el concepto de comunicación institucional. Se implementa una metodología y técnicas bibliométricas para el procesamiento y cálculo de indicadores que reflejen las características principales de la investigación en este ámbito.

Resultados/Discusión. La evolución de la producción científica ha experimentado un incremento notable y progresivo a lo largo del tiempo. A pesar de la contribución de numerosos autores, el autor que más produce en todo el período no supera los 26 artículos. El estudio aborda temáticas de la comunicación organizacional desde diversas perspectivas, incluyendo la Constitución Comunicativa de las Organizaciones, la Ventriloquia y Agencia Distribuida, la Comunicación y el Poder en las Organizaciones, la Cultura Organizacional y las Narrativas, la Tecnología y la Comunicación Digital, y la Comunicación y el Cambio. Asimismo, se incluyen temáticas como la comunicación organizacional en contextos globales y transculturales, la ética y la comunicación organizacional, la comunicación y las emociones en el trabajo, la comunicación en sectores específicos y la comunicación y sostenibilidad.

Conclusiones. El estudio en cuestión ofrece una perspectiva integral sobre la adaptación de la comunicación organizacional a los cambios tecnológicos, sociales y económicos. Esta adaptación se aborda desde una perspectiva bibliométrica y mediante un exhaustivo análisis de la literatura registrada en Scopus. A modo ilustrativo, cabe señalar que temas como la ciberseguridad, el análisis de sentimientos, el teletrabajo y el uso de las redes sociales están adquiriendo una relevancia creciente en la literatura científica, lo que refleja las necesidades actuales de las organizaciones.
