Article Processing Charge

The Iberoamerican Journal of Science Measurement and Communication has instituted an Article Processing Charge (APC) to assist with open access expenses. The APC encompasses various editorial production costs, such as editing, hosting, layout, technological support, archiving, preservation, and marketing.

The cost of publishing is 1,000 EUR plus a 20.91 transfer fee (1,060 USD), payable upon acceptance of the article. Please note that a 22% tax will be applied if you are a company based in the EU without a valid VAT number, an Estonian company, or an EU private individual.

APC waivers

• Authors from countries classified by the World Bank as low-income economies receive a 100% discount.
• Ukrainian authors will temporarily not be charged an APC due to the Russian invasion.
• Reviewers who contribute to the journal by completing peer reviews are eligible for a 15% discount as a token of appreciation for their service.
• Authors are eligible for an APC waiver only once a year.

Note: All articles submitted before 2.02.2025 will be processed under the previous APC rate (700 EUR plus a 20.91 EUR transfer fee (760 USD))
